This document accurately describes what Nova VPN's systems actually do today, but it has not yet been reviewed or finalized by a lawyer, and Nova VPN's legal entity and jurisdiction are not yet finalized either. Don't treat this as a final, legally binding document until that review is complete.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Nova VPN, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
Nova VPN provides a WireGuard-based VPN connection through servers we operate. Available server locations and features may change as we expand — we'll never list a location as available unless it's actually live.
Accounts and the free trial
- You need an email and password to create an account.
- New accounts are eligible for a one-time 7-day free trial, no card required.
- Each physical device is limited to one free trial, regardless of how many email addresses are used to sign up on it. We use a device identifier to enforce this — see our Privacy Policy for details.
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Nova VPN to:
- Break the law, including the laws of the country you're physically in.
- Attack, hack, or gain unauthorized access to any system.
- Send spam, phishing content, or malware.
- Abuse, overload, or interfere with our infrastructure or other users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. We maintain an abuse-reporting process and act on credible reports.
Subscriptions and billing
- Plans are sold as fixed-length passes (e.g. daily, weekly, bi-weekly) — see the app for current pricing.
- Plans do not auto-renew. Your subscription simply expires at the end of the period you paid for, unless you make another payment.
- If you pay again before your current plan expires, the new time is added on top of your remaining time rather than restarting the clock.
- Payments are processed by Stripe, Flutterwave, or Paystack depending on market — never stored or processed directly by us.
Termination
You can stop using Nova VPN at any time, and you can permanently delete your account yourself in the app under Settings → Delete Account — this immediately erases your VPN identity and cancels your subscription, and can't be undone. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms, including the acceptable use rules above.
Disclaimers
Nova VPN is provided "as is." We work to keep the service secure and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, to the fullest extent the law allows.
